Smoothie bowl

Smoothies/smoothie bowls are my go to in the morning. They are quick, easy, full of nutrients and refreshing all year round (especially in the summer).

You can pretty much put whatever you like in them. I find if I put at least one thing from each category below I always get something delicious.

 My favourite combination is…


1/2 cup of organic frozen berries 

1 frozen banana 

Hand full of organic spinach 

1/2 cup of coconut water (from a fresh coconut) 

1/2 cup of almond milk (either make your own or buy an organic brand e.g. Nutty Bruce) 

Tbsp of cacao 

Tsp of kakadu plum powder 

Tsp of maca  


  1. Blend in a high speed blender.

  2. Top with home made spelt ginger granola (recipe coming soon) and fresh fruit.

It may just smooth out your day ;)
