Summer digestive smoothie

Iv recently been seeing the beautiful Alyce at @ahara_health who is an amazing naturopath in Newport to help me with my period pain. If you need help, I recommend!
She advised that I try to eat more cooked foods as raw food is hard on the digestion which may be contributing to the pain. By cooking the food it pre-digests it for you making it easier for your body to break down.
But what about summer smoothies?
She told me that if I really want to eat something raw to add ginger and/or turmeric to help ‘warm’ the food. So if your body needs more warming foods this might also be for you!

This one was off the chain this afternoon so I thought I’d share the recipe.

1/2 frozen mango
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
1/2 frozen banana
1 tsp of Yerba mate (optional)
1 tbsp of tahini
1 small knob of ginger
1 tbsp of @coyo_organic (optional)
1 cup of @drinkbruce coconut and almond milk
